Requirements for the post
Candidates should possess the following minimum requirements:
a) Must have at least Masters Degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution; and possession of Ph.D is an added advantage.
b) Must be a chief lecturer with a minimum of five years (5) experience on the rank from a Monotechnic system.
c) Must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years post qualification teaching experience, and taught in a discipline available in a Monotechnic.
d) Exhibit evidence of strong academic and administration leadership (e.g. HOD, Director of School/Dean/Head of Division)
e) Show evidence of membership of reputable professional body (ies).
f) Produce evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals as well as evidence of presentation of learned papers at educational conferences, seminars or workshops.
g) Be ICT proficient
h) Provide report of physical fitness from Government hospital.
i) Be morally sound, of impeccable probity, integrity and free from financial embarrassment,
j) Be a person who is likely to pursue racial, ethnic, political, religious or sectional interests,
k) A successful candidate must not be more than 55 years of age at the time he/she assumes duty.
